Your Spiritual House
I invite you to reflect on your unique Spiritual House.
· What are the joys and the challenges in your Spiritual House -- the helpful habits and those that get in the way of healthy growth?
· What are the significant marking points in your spiritual journey from your earliest experience of God to the present?
· What role has your family played in your faith development?
· What is a recent spiritual struggle and how have you dealt with it. Has it changed your self-understanding? Your relationship to the Divine?
· What story from your life represents the heart of who you are?
Sit with these questions and jot down your reflections in a summer journal. Talk with a trusted companion as you seek to give definition to your Spiritual House and how well it shelters you.
I pray that these questions will draw you into a closer relationship with God and better equip you for your journey forward.
